The Triangle Bikeway was funded in the FY24 & FY25 UPWP. UPWP. The Request for Qualifications was open from January 12, 2024 to February 23, 2024 for advancing the design of the eastern portion of the Triangle Bikeway project. Four Proposals were submitted, reviewed and then scored by a selection committee comprised of staff from CAMPO, Wake County, NCDOT, the Town of Cary, the City of Raleigh, The Town of Morrisville, the Research Triangle Foundation and Central Pines Regional Council. Interviews were held April 11, 2024 and a top candidate was selected to begin negotiations. After working with the consultant to update the scope and successfully negotiating fees for the design, the contract is ready for execution. The fee to complete Task Order 1 of this contract is $2,047,541.
Requested Action: Action Approve the contract and scope for task order one. Authorize the Executive Director to sign the contract.
