The FY 2026 UPWP was adopted in February 2025. Amendment #1 to this document included making some budget adjustments to align with FY 26 priorities and address end-of-year realities for ongoing project budgets. Specifically, the Amendment removed some funding from the Non-Motorized Data Volume Count Program, and increased funding to the Triangle Bikeway General Engineering Services contract to address unspent FY 25 funding for that project. Also, due to a slower-than-anticipated expenditure rate for the North Falls Lake Area Study resulted in the need to move some local funding contribution from Granville County from FY 25 to FY 26. Finally, minor corrections to Table 3 to align with the Appendix B Work Plan for Central Pines Regional Council were made. This Amendment was available for review and comment from July 21, 2025 through August 19, 2025.
Requested Action: Action Recommend the Executive Board adopt Amendment #1.
