Wake Bus Plan Service Standards and Performance Guidelines and ADA Funding Policy

The final two deliverables within the scope of the FY2025-2030 Wake Bus Plan development process were to update the Wake Transit Service Standards and Performance Guidelines which are used annually to evaluate route performance and the ADA Funding Policy which establishes the process for budgeting and reimbursing the costs of providing required ADA/Paratransit services.
Development of these documents was completed with active participation of both the Wake Bus Plan Technical Coordinating Committee and the TPAC’s Program Development Subcommittee. On October 24, 2023, subcommittee members voted unanimously to recommend both policies for TPAC consideration. On December 13th, the TPAC reviewed the drafts and voted to move them forward for governing board approval. The TCC unanimously recommended approval of the Wake Bus Plan Service Standards and Performance Guidelines and the ADA Funding Policy at its meeting on January 4, 2024. The GoTriangle Board Trustees Administration & Governance Committee recommended approval of the documents at its meeting on January 3, 2024, and the Board of Trustees will consider approval of the documents at its meeting on January 24, 2024. Michelle Peele, GoTriangle’s project manager for the Wake Bus Plan project, will provide an overview presentation to the Executive Board prior to its consideration to approve the Service Standards and Performance Guidelines and the ADA Funding Policy.
