A Public review period for the draft Wake Transit Community Engagement Policy was held from August 15^th to September 29^th. The updated policy is intended to replace the original 2018 policy. It provides enhanced guidance to lead agency staff and project sponsors tasked with the execution of community involvement activities for Wake Transit-funded projects and planning activities. It seeks to improve processes and outcomes, and it prioritizes regular performance evaluations to optimize future engagement and communication efforts. Adoption schedule highlights include a public hearing during the October 19^th CAMPO Executive Board meeting, TCC considers recommending the policy on November 3^rd and the governing boards will consider its adoption on November 16^th.  TCC member comments should be submitted to stephanie.plancich@campo-nc.us by Friday, October 21^st.
