Wake Transit Bus Rapid Transit Update

The Wake Transit Plan envisions a network of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Corridors in the County that will help to achieve the plan’s goal of frequent and reliable urban mobility. The City of Raleigh recently began construction activities on the first of these corridors along New Bern Avenue in Raleigh. The City staff will provide an update on progress along that corridor, along with the Southern, Western and Northern BRT corridors currently in project development.
