Wake Transit Conference Committee Update

The Wake Transit Conference Committee met on March 26, 2026, to hear a presentation from GoTriangle staff on the agency’s financial outlook, including revenue and expenditure projections.  The Committee also received presentations on impacts of not including Vehicle Rental Tax as a revenue source for Wake Transit and options the Committee is evaluating for a long-term resolution to the vehicle rental tax revenue question for Wake Transit.  CAMPO staff will provide the Executive Board with an update on the committee discussion at the March 26th meeting and review the next steps for the Committee.
