Set Public Hearing Date for Wake Transit Community Funding Area Program Management Plan

The Wake Transit Community Funding Area Program Management Plan, which details eligibility, application, prioritization and award, and program oversight requirements and guidelines associated with the Community Funding Area Program envisioned by the Wake County Transit Plan, is expected to move forward for consideration by the Executive Board at its November 14th meeting. Should the Executive Board take action to approve the draft program management plan at that time, it will be put to use for projects proposed to be initiated or carried out by eligible municipalities or organizations in FYs 2019 and 2020.
In accordance with CAMPO’s adopted public participation plan, documents under consideration by the Executive Board having the level of policy direction that will be exhibited in the Wake Transit Community Funding Area Program Management Plan are subject to a 30-day public comment period and a public hearing. Consequently, CAMPO staff will open a 30-day public comment period that will close in advance of the Board’s November 14th meeting.
