Prioritization 7.0 Modal Candidate Project Lists

CAMPO staff and the TIP/SPOT subcommittee have developed the lists of candidate projects for Prioritization 7.0 (SPOT 7).  These projects, along with the existing projects in the SPOT database, will be given technical scores by NCDOT and be eligible for local input points from the MPO next summer.

The P7 modal candidate project lists have been posted on the MPO’s website for public review and comment from August 21^st through October 18, 2023.  <https://www.campo-nc.us/funding/spot/prioritization-70-spot-7>   A public hearing was opened on September 20, 2023 at the Executive Board meeting and held open until October 18^th.

Requested Action: Action Conclude the public hearing.  Consider approval of the P7 candidate project lists for submittal to NCDOT’s prioritization process and direct staff to maximize coordination with Division Engineers which may result in alternate projects being submitted with Chair approval.
