Locally Administered Projects Program Additional Funding Request

The Locally Administered Projects Program (LAPP) allows existing projects to request additional funding to address financial shortfalls. Requests that fall below $1,000,000 of additional CAMPO funding can be approved administratively through the CAMPO Executive Director. Requests exceeding $1,000,000 require CAMPO Executive Board approval.
In February of this year, the TCC reviewed Raleigh’s additional funding request based on their engineer’s estimate. The estimate was for an additional $2,205,220.31 of LAPP funds for the Crabtree Creek Greenway at Lassiter Mill project. Based on that estimate, the TCC recommended approval of the additional funding request.
Since the February TCC meeting, the City of Raleigh has received bids on the project and the new request has increased to an additional $3,504,739.11 of LAPP funds.
Requested Action: Action Review additional funding request for the City of Raleigh’s Crabtree Creek Greenway at Lassiter Mill (BL-0027) project and consider approval.
