FFY 2025 LAPP Program

The call for projects for the Federal Fiscal Year 2025 Locally Administered Projects Program (LAPP) closed on October 31, 2023. Since then, CAMPO Staff have worked internally to verify project scoring and have met with the LAPP Selection Panel, who has provided a recommendation of projects to fund. Following the meeting with the LAPP Selection Panel, a technical error was discovered in the calculation for the “transit effectiveness multiplier” for GoCary’s Communications Equipment Upgrade project. Once corrected, it became the highest scoring transit project and was subsequently recommended for funding. All calculations were reviewed to ensure no other errors occurred.
The recommended list of projects, known as the LAPP Investment Program, will be presented for public comment from January 19 to February 21, 2024, with a public hearing scheduled for the February 21st Executive Board meeting. Following the public hearing, the Executive Board may consider action on the draft FFY 2025 LAPP Program. After approval, local jurisdictions will have from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, to receive federal authorization to begin work on the funded phases of their projects.
