For over twenty years, the Institute of Transportation and Research Education at North Carolina State University has housed and maintained the Triangle Region Travel Demand Model (TRM) and provided technical services to CAMPO, Triangle West MPO, and NCDOT. In addition to hosting the Travel Demand Model, ITRE is currently managing the recurring household travel survey for the MPOs and NCDOT. ITRE staff will provide an overview and update of the various activities conducted via this partnership as well as some of the other research activities ITRE engages in that are relevant to CAMPO’s priorities, goals, and objectives.
