Briefing on Proposed Federal Rescission Legislation

The US House of Representatives passed a FY 2018 appropriations bill that includes a rescission of unobligated transportation funding. LAPP projects with unobligated funds are potentially exposed to this rescission if this bill is adopted in its current state.
Staff will provide a report on 1) the status of the legislation, 2) the current status of exposed LAPP funding and the potential impact if a rescission were to happen in the near future, and 3) how the CAMPO Executive Board, Staff, and TCC will be moving forward if the proposed legislation passes.
