During the process of adopting the FY2018-2027 Transportation Improvement Program, the Capital Area MPO received public comment prior to and during the October 25, 2017 Executive Board Meeting regarding the project U-5826 Falls of Neuse widening.
In response to this comment, the CAMPO Executive Board requested an update from the project owner, NCDOT, when the Department reached a preferred alternative for the project.
NCDOT has reached a preferred alternative for U-5826 and will share a presentation outlining proposed changes to mitigate concerns raised by the public through the public input process.
