Body
Staff will provide an update on the development of the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (2045 MTP/CTP). The update will focus on:

* Update on draft 2045 MTP/CTP report and approved projects/programs
* Anticipated 2045 MTP/CTP schedule and actions.

The CAMPO Executive Board approved the projects/programs for the 2045 MTP/CTP at their December 13, 2017 meeting. The MPO staff has undertaken the necessary follow on steps to complete the full 2045 MTP/CTP report document. This includes items such as final network updates based on approved projects, final socio-economic and travel demand forecast model runs, air quality and environmental justice network analysis, performance measure analysis and report, and document preparation. A full draft document was release January 11, 2018 for a 42-day comment period. Based on comments from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the MPO incorporated updates to include the federal FAST act compliant measures that the MPO has approved and will need to approve by the federally mandated deadlines. Inclusion of these measures will ensure the 2045 MTP is compliant when the FAST Act performance measures and target regulations come into full force in May 2018. The 2045 MTP webpage has continued to have the most current updates incorporated into the draft document. www.campo-nc.us/transportation-plan/draft-2045-metropolitan-transportation-plan. Final approval will include the SE Data, the previously approved 2045 MTP/CTP projects and financial plan, Goals, Objectives, Performance Measures, and Targets, as well as the full report and the Triangle Regional Model (previously approved for planning purposes and MTP development).
Readers should note that there is an executive summary in the front of the full report and the last page of each chapter has a short summary of key points. At their meeting on February 1, 2018 the TCC recom...
