Body

Information Item:  FY 2019 Draft Wake Transit Work Plan

TPAC has recommended the FY 2019 Draft Wake Transit Work Plan.  This draft will be released for public and agency comment between January 23 and March 12.  This document is available through CAMPO’s TPAC website and Wake Transit’s website (www.waketransit.com).  Directions for submitting comments are available on both sites.

Action Items:  TPAC has also recommended two items to the Wake Transit Governing Boards:

The FY 2018 2nd Quarter Proposed Amendment Requests

The Bus Plan Project Prioritization Framework Policy

FY 2018 Q2 Proposed Amendments

As a part of the amendment packet provided with this meeting, you will find the following items:

Memorandum from TPAC Administrator to TPAC

Revised Proposed FY 2018 Q2 Amendment List

                     Detailed Individual Project Amendment Requests

Budget & Finance Subcommittee Disposition Memorandum and Table Summary

                     Comment Disposition Matrix

It should be noted that at the January TPAC meeting, only 2 amendments were recommended to move forward to the Wake Transit Governing Boards for consideration of approval.  These two amendments are:

Bus Acquisition for GoTriangle - Scope Change

Creative Design Consultant - request for additional funding

The TPAC directed that all FTE-related amendments be reviewed by the Staffing Plan CTT and provide disposition on the alignment between amendment requests and FTE’s defined by the plan.

Since the end of the  public comment period on these amendments, two have since been removed from the amendment request list for this specific round.  These amendments are:

                     Multi-Year Bus Service Implementation Plan

                     BRT Project Engineer

Bus Plan Project Prioritization Framework Policy

The Bus Plan Project Prioritization Framework Policy is a decision-making framework.  It is intended to provide a transparent and understandable process for making choices between competing investment needs in the Wake Transit Plan.  It is also intended to provide guidance on the development of the 10-year bus service and capital investment plans.
