Rolesville Main Street Study - Final Report

Body

The Capital Area MPO partnered with the Town of Rolesville to conduct a study of the Main Street Corridor through Rolesville. This corridor, also known as US 401 Business, has seen dramatic shifts in traffic since the opening of the US 401 Rolesville Bypass. The Town wished to engage in a study to determine what the future of Main Street could look like through town. Stantec was hired as the prime consultant to lead a visioning process with a robust public engagement component. The Town of Rolesville Commissioners voted at their August 2018 meeting to endorse the findings and recommendations in the study. The full report can be found online at www.mainstreetrolesville.com <http://www.mainstreetrolesville.com> . The TCC has reviewed these recommendations, and forwards a recommendation of approval.
