Wake Transit Work Plan Amendment Policy Update

As originally requested by the CAMPO Executive Board in late 2017, Wake County Transit Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC) leadership asked the TPAC to revisit and review the efficacy of the adopted Wake Transit Work Plan amendment policy after it was put to use for the remainder of FY 2018 following its original adoption. CAMPO staff, in cooperation with TPAC subcommittee leadership, drafted recommended adjustments to the amendment policy and shared them with the TPAC at is August 8^th regular meeting. The TPAC accepted the adjustments and recommended the updated policy to the Wake Transit governing boards for approval. A summary of the noteworthy proposed changes to the Wake Transit Amendment Policy, as well as a draft of the policy with the changes incorporated, is provided in Attachment A. The TCC voted unanimously at its September 6^th regular meeting to recommend approval of the updated amendment policy.
