Contract: Western Wake Traffic Signal System Integration Study

The Western Wake Traffic Signal System Integration Study was funded in the adopted FY 2021 UPWP. The Request for Proposals was open from September 18, 2020 to October 9, 2020. Three proposals were received and after scoring each proposal a proposal review team met on October 16, 2020 selecting a preferred candidate. The proposal review team included representatives from the Town of Cary, Town of Morrisville, Town of Fuquay-Varina, and various representatives from NCDOT including transportation systems management, signal systems, and ITS. After working with stakeholders in each study area to develop an acceptable scope for the study, and successfully negotiating fees for the study, the contract is now ready for execution.
Requested Action: Action Review and approve the contract and scope for the Western Wake Traffic Signal System Integration Study, pending final administrative review and approval by NCDOT; and authorize the CAMPO Executive Director to sign the contract.
