CAMPO Projects and Programs Funding Update

Body

CAMPO Staff will provide an update on CAMPO funding and programs from State and Federal sources.  Since the 2021 federal fiscal year closed on September 30^th, CAMPO Staff will review funding expectations moving into the next fiscal year and review projects requesting to move forward after the LAPP FFY2021 funding authorization deadline set by the CAMPO Executive Board.  Staff will also review the status of the outstanding LAPP CMAQ projects, that have just received their award letter to move forward from NCDOT.

Requested Action: Action Consider 1) approval of outstanding LAPP projects request to move forward after the FFY2021 authorization deadline 2) extension of FFY2021 authorization deadline for delayed CMAQ projects to the end of FFY2022, and 3) removal of delayed CMAQ projects from submittal reductions for FFY2023 LAPP call for projects.
