CAMPO Memorandum of Understanding

The current Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the MPO must be amended to reflect updates in federal law, changes to the MPO boundary, and modernization of key terms and provisions. The MPO planning area boundary was recently expanded to include portions of Chatham County as well as additional portions of Harnett and Johnston Counties. This expansion also added the Towns of Coats and Lillington into the MPO. The draft MOU is included as an attachment. This document was released for review by all MPO members. Final Executive Board action this spring would approve the MOU for MPO members to execute. The TCC recommended approval at their April 4, 2024 meeting.
Requested Action: Action Approval of the updated MOU for local adoption by all MPO members.
