Mobility Management Program Memorandum of Understanding

Crystal Odum, MPO Staff

Body

On June 21, 2023, the CAMPO Executive Board endorsed the Mobility Management Implementation Study (MMIS) and its recommendations following the consultants completion of the work to develop the regional Mobility Management Program (MMP) and a framework for its implementation.

The attached Mobility Management Program Final report (Attachment B) is the consultant team’s recommendations for the framework and implementation of the CAMPO region’s mobility management program.  The report summarizes tasks completed during the project including the funding plan for the program, outreach activities, and actual steps for the region to implement a regional mobility management program including hiring a mobility manager and formalizing the Mobility Coordination Committee (MCC) giving the committee oversight of the program. The regional transit providers formally endorsed the program framework in Phase 1 of the MMI study and will participate in the regional mobility management program and the MCC.  Attached is the MOU developed to establish roles and responsibilities for the transit providers to participate in the program and the MCC Draft By-Laws. (Attachments C and D)

The regional Mobility Management program started implementation in January 2024, as per the FY 2024 UPWP and FY 2023 Mobility Management Implementation Study. The CAMPO Mobility Manager was hired on February 12, 2024.
